Elizabeth A. She brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across business operations, housing development, nonprofit management, and public-facing advocacy.
In the business and non profit sector, Protzman has held senior leadership and consulting roles focused on operations, marketing, and growth strategy. Her experience includes overseeing teams in regional management roles, leading business development initiatives, and advising organizations on branding, public relations, systems design, and revenue generation. She has successfully executed high-impact marketing and partnership campaigns, positioning organizations for visibility, expansion, and long-term sustainability.

She has served as President of the Junior League of Greater New Haven, leading a million-dollar nonprofit organization focused on training women leaders and advancing community impact. Her volunteer work also includes involvement with Rotary International, Love146, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), food security initiatives, and multiple community-based programs supporting women, children, and families. She is deeply committed to supporting veterans, children, and trauma survivors, a passion that informs both her professional work and personal mission.
Her advocacy extends into public policy and lived experience. As a survivor of a life-altering boating accident, she testified before the Connecticut State Legislature to support changes to boating safety laws, demonstrating her ability to translate personal experience into systemic impact. Her journey through motherhood further shapes her compassionate, resilient leadership style and her commitment to creating safer, stronger communities.
