Fight Domestic Violence Locally is a community call to action supporting survivors of domestic violence and honoring the life of Anastasia Paul. Community members, advocates, and allies are invited to gather at the Rockville Courthouse in Vernon on July 28, 2026, to stand in solidarity, raise awareness, and support justice while reinforcing the message that domestic violence has no place in our communities.

Waterford Day Parade 2026 is one of southeastern Connecticut's signature community celebrations, bringing together local organizations, businesses, first responders, veterans, performers, and residents for a patriotic parade celebrating the spirit of Waterford. This year's theme, "Unity in Our Community," honors America's 250th anniversary, Waterford's 225th anniversary, local veterans, centenarians, and the people who make the town a special place to call home.

The Kalos Gala: Honoring Connecticut's LGBTQ Legacy is an elegant evening celebrating the pioneers, advocates, and community leaders who have advanced LGBTQ+ rights, visibility, and inclusion throughout Connecticut. Benefiting the Hartford Pride Center, the gala pays tribute to the legacy of the Kalos Society, Connecticut's first LGBTQ activist organization, whose groundbreaking work helped organize the state's first Pride celebration and paved the way for future generations. Through recognition, storytelling, and community support, the event honors the past while investing in a more inclusive future.
